ANTAKYA was difficult to settle in the early and middle stages, and thereafter Jockey van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with this filly in running. Apprentice Hewitson reported that SUPRISE MOVE (AUS) made an abnormal respiratory noise in running. LUCKY LULU was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ANTAKYA - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. SUPRISE MOVE (AUS) - no respiratory noise detected post race. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, except for RAYO, which was identified by means of its microchip number.
