The start of the 3rd Race was delayed due to all the horses being taken out of the stalls and later reloaded to allow the betting public time to restructure their bets after the withdrawal of FIRES OF CALAIS and DANISH CROSS. HONEY BADGER was slow into stride. KINGS RITUAL lost 1 length. FIRES OF CALAIS reared over in the stalls. SARABI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. HONEYMOON COVE raced green and was hanging in, in the latter stages. In view of the performance of KINGS RITUAL, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Apprentice de Gouveia reported that he felt something amiss with HONEY BADGER and as a result he did not persevere with his ride in the latter stages. PELAYA raced green. In view of the Starter's report concerning FIRES OF CALAIS, the starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn until recertified tractable with a companion on a race day. An Inquiry will be held into an incident which took place outside the weighing room after the running of the 3rd Race between Stable Employee Miss Rymill and the Starter and the Assistant Starter. Vet: HONEY BADGER - abnormal respiratory noise. HONEYMOON COVE - speedy cut left hind. KINGS RITUAL - speedy cut left hind. Scratched: FIRES OF CALAIS - injured in the stalls and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. DANISH CROSS - was kicked in the stalls and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon.
