YOU BEAUTY was slow into stride. PLUME DEL TORO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GINGER BISCUIT was bumped and unbalanced shortly after the start was effected. In view of the performance of VISION TO KILL, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Jockey de Melo signed an Admission of Guilt and was for a contravention in that, as the rider of SABRE CHARGE, he used his crop in an excessive manner by striking this gelding with excessive frequency in the closing stages. Vet: VISION TO KILL - nothing obvious detected.
