NTOMA lost one length. SECRET ANGEL was stubborn loading. Trainer Anderson was advised to re-school this mare prior to her next engagement. INDZABA proved reluctant to canter to the start and had to be led by a Handler. Trainer Wiid was advised that should this filly behave in a similar manner in future, she may be suspended. At approximately the 400m WINNING SISTER had to ease off the heels of BEAUTIFUL SHAY, which rolled out. Leaving the 200m BEAUTIFUL SHAY had steady when awkwardly placed on the heels of INKOLO, which rolled out. Thereafter BEAUTIFUL SHAY and INKOLO were awkwardly placed between DAWN FLIGHT, which shifted out away from the crop and was immediately straightened and SAMMI MOOSA, which rolled in. An Objection was lodged by Jockey Wrogemann, the rider of the 4th placed horse, BEAUTIFUL SHAY, against the 3rd placed horse, INKOLO, on the grounds of interference in the concluding stages. The Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the connections of both horses and reviewing the patrol films of the incident complained of, was of the opinion that BEAUTIFUL SHAY would not have finished ahead of INKOLO and therefore overruled the objection. The Judges result stands and Jockey Wrogemann's deposit was refunded. The Board when reviewing this incident was of the opinion that this was a racing incident and that blame could be apportioned to any individual rider and therefore took no further action. DAWN FLIGHT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. INDZABA raced unshod. Vet: SEEKING GOLD - cut into left hind. SAMMI MOOSA - abrasions on left hip from pens. SPURWING SUMMER - in season.
