IMAGINE DRAGONS and SOUTHERN SUNSET were stubborn loading. SU-PA-SUTA was unruly and kicked the back gate in the stalls. The start of this race was delayed due to the late arrival of AUDRIE DO at the start, further SU-PA-SUTA kicked a Handler, who had to be attended to by the paramedics and on the whole a difficult load. In view of the Starter's report, SU-PA-SUTA's starting stalls certificate is withdrawn and is to be recertified tractable prior to racing again. AUDRIE DO was reluctant to proceed to the start and had to be led, this filly is to be re-schooled on course to proceed to the start prior to racing again. SOUTHERN SUNSET and IMAGINE DRAGONS are to be re-schooled in the starting stalls prior to racing again. NOORDHOEK'S SPEED shifted outwards passing the 800-metre mark and made contact with MISS EINSTEIN and NOORDHOEK'S SPEED became unbalanced for several strides from this movement. Jockey van der Merwe reported that he felt something amiss with NOORDHOEK'S SPEED in the running and eased his mount out of the race at the 150-metre mark. Jockey Ndlovu reported that AMAZING VAR was not striding out freely in the running and he did not persevere with his ride from the 200-metre mark. Jockey Minnie reported that INTISARA took no interest in the running. AUDRIE DO was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. AMAZING VAR raced in Club Colours. Vet: NOORDHOEK'S SPEED - pulled up, lame right fore, treated on track. AMAZING VAR - blood in mouth. INTISARA - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
