ICE EMPEROR and STORM HERO lost one length. HEIR LINE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Approaching the 350-metre mark SOME SAY compounded badly, which resulted in SWEET REFRAIN having to check off the heels of SOME SAY for a number of strides. This resulted in ICE EMPEROR being switched out off the heels of SOME SAY and STORM HERO being carried outwards. Jockey Forbes reported that he felt something amiss with SOME SAY in the straight. SPY FICTION was hanging out in the latter stages. Vet: SOME SAY - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: CAPTAIN ROCKHOPPER - transport complications.
