THE STARTER REPORTED: a) Fair start for all runners. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) LEGEND HAS IT (K Sakayi) over-raced in the early and middle stages. b) STARWBERRY POPTART (*T Gumede) raced wide around the turn and into the straight. c) PARKDALE (C Habib) raced wide at the 600m and into the straight. d) PINCH ME (L Hewitson) shifted out away from the crop at the 250m. e) Trainer N van Wyk appeared before the Board and was questioned regarding the improved performance of PARKDALE (C Habib). In this regard, he explained that this filly appreciated being ridden with more restraint in today's run which accounted for the improvement shown. Notwithstanding this explanation, Trainer N van Wyk's attention was drawn to the Rules pertaining to in and out running and advised that should this horse not maintain consistent form going forward, it may be suspended. f) PARKDALE (C Habib), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer N van Wyk advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) MALLOW raced without blinkers (advised 08.09.20/19h51). b) CHAMPAGNE DANCER was ridden by Jockey D Dillon (advised 08.09.20/13h21). c) SHARON'S STAR was ridden by Jockey J Samuel (advised 04.09.20/13h23).
