The start was delayed due to a false start being called as NEWTON POWER and Jockey Simons were not ready as the start was effected and therefore they did not have a fair start. The horses were reloaded and a fair break was recorded. SUPA GOOD was hanging in, in the final 300 metres. ROAD TO DUBAI and SUPER GOOD were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Scratched: SHEIK'S BRASHEE - insufficient work and being unfit to race (Stewards Permission). The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
