ON GOLDEN WINGS and FIRST ANTHEM were slow into stride. FASHION DISPLAY was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Apprentice Ngwane's right foot made contact with the starting stall resulting in his foot slipping from the right stirrup iron, which he was unable to regain for the remainder of the Race and as such was unable to assist AMADORA in the running. PRINCESS RATATTOEE and KAILUA BEACH over-raced in the early stages. BURNT CHERRY returned post race having cast the right fore shoe. Scratched: QUENA - not eating up. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
