The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race and a subsequent technical problem with the siren. Jockey Zackey reported that KINGS LANDING did not stride out freely in running. Jockey Maujean reported that he felt something amiss with THE LOTSKY in running and did not persevere with his ride from the 400m. At approximately the 1200m DANCING REBEL was bumped by SINGASWEWIN, which proved difficult to settle in the early stages. At approximately the 1200m ALLEGIANCE was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the inside of TIME TO BE GREAT, which rolled in. At approximately the 1000m DIPLOMAT brushed the inside running rail. SINGASWEWIN shifted both ways away from the crop from the 400m. TIME TO BE GREAT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SINGASWEWIN raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: KINGS LANDING - lame right front. SINGASWEWIN - abnormal respiratory noise. THE LOTSKY - examined post race, nothing obvious detected. Scratched: KING OF MANI - insufficient recovery time. SPANISH TUNE - jarred right front knee. GIMMEABREAK - abnormal temperature.
