Jockey Marwing (medically indisposed) and Workrider Ndlovu (family responsibility) did not ride at today's race meeting. They were replaced on their mounts. CRUSH was slow into stride. In view of the performance from MOSS GAS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. GOTOLUVHER shifted out away from the crop from the 200m. GOLDEN MEMORIES shifted out away from the crop in the concluding stages. Workrider Jonase, the rider of BLAZING BERRY, and Workrider Mosia, the rider of POTS OF MONEY, appeared before the Board, were shown the patrol film of the race and reminded of their obligation to keep a straight course parallel to the running rail and relative to the drawn position for the first 200m of straight races. Workrider Mosia signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention in that he used his crop in an unnecessary manner, which resulted in wheals on the right flank of the horse POTS OF MONEY. The Board, when assessing the penalty, took into account Mr Mosia's poor record with regard to this rule and therefore decided to suspend him from racing in two workriders' races. DIAMOND NOIR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: MOSS GAS - abnormal respiratory noise. BLAZING BERRY - coughing. QUI STAR - speedy cut right hind. FLYING LEGEND - in season; Epistaxis. This horse was suspended for a period of 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority in.
