There was a delay to the start of the 2nd Race following a request from the international racing division. BERETTA BOBCAT was restless in the stalls and was slow into stride. STAR SIGN lost 1 length. ORO NEGRO and ECCELLERATE were slow into stride. CUPKING and ECCELLERATE were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. At approximately the 450-metre mark DANCE MANIA was forced to switch out off the heels of a tiring GUARDSMAN. This resulted in COSMIC KNIGHT having to be steadied and carried outwards. ECCELLERATE was hanging in, in the straight. ECCELLERATE and CUPKING brushed at approximately the 200-metre mark. OLERAI raced fitted with alumite bar shoes both fore and alumites behind. STAR SIGN raced with his tongue tied down. Vet: BERETTA BOBCAT - blowing.
