DALIBHUNGA, which was stubborn and fractious when loading, had to be hooded causing a delay and was thereafter was slow losing one length and slow into stride. TELAMON was reluctant to load and fractious in the stalls, slow losing two lengths and was slow into stride. KARAT was slow losing three lengths and slow into stride. In view of the Starter's report concerning DALIBHUNGA, Trainer Nel will be advised that this gelding's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and he may not be accepted to race until he is passed tractable. Thereafter DALIBHUNGA shifted in again and carried TELAMON inwards, which resulted in GATES becoming cramped and having to ease. Approaching the 200m STELLARSTONE steadied off the heels of INDONESIA. PRINCE ALFRED was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
