LEE'S PICK was stubborn loading. Trainer Wiid was advised to re-school this gelding prior to its next engagement. RIGHTS OF MAN, VICTOR YOUNG and CANZONE were slow into stride. JAY P, LEE'S PICK, SHOE SHINE and VALADO over-raced in the early stages. PORCUPINE CREEK shifted both ways away from the crop from the 200m. Apprentice Ngcobo reported that he felt something amiss with CANZONE in running. Apprentice Hewitson reported that AMORETTA changed stride continually in running. PORCUPINE CREEK was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PORCUPINE CREEK raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind. Vet: CANZONE - not striding out left front and speedy cut right front. SINGASWEWIN - abnormal respiratory noise. AMORETTA - examined post race, nothing obvious detected.
