DALAAL was slow into stride. GRANDE ROCHE (AUS) was difficult to settle in the early stages. BIBLICAL SUSAN (AUS) over-raced in the early stages. At approximately the 150m SISTERS OF MERCY was bumped outwards by SNOWDONIA, which shifted out. Apprentice Hewitson was charged with a contravention in that he, as the rider of SNOWDONIA, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to SISTERS OF MERCY when he shifted out at the 150m. Apprentice Hewitson signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of seven days. Apprentice Mjoka reported that the saddle on DALAAL slipped back in running. Jockey Lerena reported that ANGELIC APPEAL did not stride out freely in running. SNOWDONIA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ANGELIC APPEAL - not striding out right hind. GRANDE ROCHE (AUS) and SISTERS OF MERCY - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: SPAN DIE SEILE - abnormal temperature. TEENAGE DREAM - heat right front.
