MICKY FLYN and TOMTUNA lost one length. STORM OUTGOING was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. WINE DARK SEA over-raced in the early and middle stages. DANCE MANIA was pulling hard in the early and middle stages, and hanging out throughout, shifted out near the 900-metre mark inconveniencing DANCE OFF. CORAL LIGHTS shifted in near the 1200 metre mark resulting in DANCE OFF having to be eased off the heels of CORAL LIGHTS and thereafter WINE DARK SEA becoming cramped and having to be eased. Apprentice Arries signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention, in that as the rider of CORAL LIGHTS, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the horse DANCE OFF at approximately the 1200 metre mark. He was suspended from riding in races for a period of seven days. Jockey de Melo reported PACIFIC ELECTRIC was not striding out freely in running. Jockey Yeni reported IMAGINATION was not striding out freely in running and as a result, he did not persevere with his ride in the closing stages. MICKY FLYN returned post race having cast the left fore shoe. Vet: IMAGINATION - not striding right fore. PACIFIC ELECTRIC - nothing obvious detected. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
