The start of this race was delayed due to FLASH MCQUEEN having spread his left front, shoe which was refitted by the Course Farrier and the withdrawal of HARVARD CRIMSON by the Course Veterinary Surgeon. KANARA and DREAM TO REALITY were slow away and lost 1 length each. Jockey Danielson reported that he felt something amiss with CAT AND THE MOON in the running and he did not persevere with his ride from the 300 metre mark. Passing the 500 metre mark PEACH DELIGHT shifted outwards for a clear run and made slight contact with FLASH MCQUEEN, FLASH MCQUEEN brushed PREOCCUPATION who shifted outwards slightly and carried TRICIA DUPONT and VALEDICTION outwards. A race review was called into this incident by the Stipendiary Steward and after reviewing the patrol film no further action was taken. DREAM TO REALITY was hanging outwards from the 200 metre mark. FEAR NOT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TAFFETY TART raced with a tongue tie. Vet: CAT AND THE MOON - checked post race, nothing obvious detected. PEACH DELIGHT - coughed post race. TRICIA DUPONT - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: HARVARD CRIMSON - not striding out and was withdrawn by the Course Veterinary Surgeon.
