DYNASTIC POWER was squeezed out between FLY LIKE THE WIND and IT IS WRITTEN on leaving the stalls. Jockey Cheyne, the rider of DYNASTIC POWER, called for a race review into the start and after reviewing the patrol films, the Board was satisfied that DYNASTIC POWER had not been impeded and no further action was taken. Jockey Lerena reported that he felt something amiss with IT IS WRITTEN passing the 300 metre mark and he did not persevere with his ride. FLY LIKE THE WIND and MISTER MATCHETT were hanging inwards from the 500 metre mark. KISS ME HARDY was hanging inwards throughout. Jockey Patel reported that BROOKLYN BRAWLER compounded passing the 200 metre mark. Apprentice Tarentaal, the rider of KILLUA CASTLE (AUS), was brought before the Board and shown the patrol film of his riding and advised not to use his crop in the forehand position in front of the saddle. KINGVOLDT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. DYNASTIC POWER raced with a tongue tie. Vet: IT IS WRITTEN - lame right front. BROOKLYN BRAWLER - not striding out in front.
