The Off time was rescheduled at the request of Phumelela. MISS D'ARAY jumped awkwardly outwards and made contact with AYYALEH. CAIPOEIRA shifted out continually, which resulted in RAVEN DOVE having to ease off his heels for a number of strides at about the 250m. Apprentice Juglall, the rider of CAIPOEIRA, was charged with a contravention, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to RAVEN DOVE when he shifted out at the 250m. Apprentice Juglall signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in races for a period of 7 days. Shortly thereafter MISS D'ARAY, which was hanging out, shifted out which resulted in ARCTIC GREEN and CAIPOEIRA becoming momentarily tightened for galloping room. Jockey Behr, the rider of MISS D'ARAY, was charged with a contravention, in that he failed to ensure that he did not cause other runners to be momentarily tightened for galloping room when he shifted out at the 250m. Jockey Behr signed an Admission of Guilt for the penalty of a Warning. MISS STAKE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GYPSY BEAUTY raced fitted with pacifiers. Jockey Noach rode AYYALEH. The Club's Medical Officer stood down Jockey Cele on medical grounds. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
