DROP THE PILOT refused to jump and was eventually assisted out of the starting stalls by the starting staff. The Board reviewed the start regarding DROP THE PILOT in the stall gate 13. The gate opened on terms and the filly refused to jump, therefore DROP THE PILOT was declared to be a runner. In view of the Starter's report concerning DROP THE PILOT, Trainer Ennion will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. QUEEN AT WAR was awkwardly placed on the heels of JUST FELICITY at the 1100m. QUEEN AT WAR was hanging out from the 400m. Jockey van der Hoven reported that he felt something amiss with this mare. RHUSTAR DHOW was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: ELUSIVE STARS - returned not striding out. DANCE AT DAWN - returned cut on the left hind. CELTIC CHARM - returned with a unilateral left nostril discharge. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure. Several Jockeys and Apprentice were selected for the taking of breathalyser tests and urine samples for analysis.
