SILVAN STAR was fractious in the stalls. GALLA PLACIDIA was restless in the stalls. In view of the report from the Starter concerning SILVAN STAR, Trainer Kotzen will be advised to have this filly re-schooled before her next engagement. In view of the performance from IN LIMINE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the mare on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. MULHER DE BRANCO was hanging out in the straight and was difficult to assist. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on her return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Fourie reported that SILVAN STAR changed stride continually throughout. SKIP A BEAT was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: SILVAN STAR - returned not striding on the right fore. IN LIMINE - returned blowing. MULHER DE BRANCO - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected.
