AMAS AMAT flyjumped out of the pens losing one length. Jockey Kudumba, the rider of AUTUMN BLOSSOM, reported this mare was not striding out throughout. DETENTE was hanging in severely throughout, making it very difficult for Apprentice Habib to assist this horse in the running. Trainer Stidolph was questioned regarding the improved performance of the winner TEMPLE RUN in this race. Trainer Stidolph advised the Board that this gelding runs better after a short layoff, and today's field was not as strong a field as was the case in its previous two runs. Trainer Stidolph otherwise had no explanation for the improved run. The Stipendiary Board reminded Trainer Stidolph with regard to the Rule pertaining to inconsistent running. TEMPLE RUN was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The Ownership of FASHION WORLD to read: Messrs R Sherwood, M K Chant, A Kietzman, S N Buchan, N Evans, G Readings, R Sherwood, G Carter & Mrs P J Lewis Vet: AUTUMN BLOSSOM - examined post race and nothing untoward found. Scratched: JINX JOHNSON - sold. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
