The start of the 6th Race was delayed as result of the delay in the previous race as well as the Veterinary Surgeon examining and withdrawing PANZA at the start. ONE O WON lost 2 lengths. SOVEREIGN REIGN and ROY'S AIR FORCE both lost 1 length. ROY'S AIR FORCE was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ONE O WON changed legs and faltered near the 500 metre mark. Jockey Sturgeon reported that he felt something amiss with ONE O WON as a result and thereafter did not persevere with his ride. ROY'S AIR FORCE was eased off the heels of MARRIOT and switched in to obtain a clear run near the 200 metre mark. GOOD TO GIVE raced with his tongue tied down. Vet: SOVEREIGN REIGN - mouth injury. ONE O WON - not striding out left hind. Scratched: PANZA - examined at the start and found to be not striding out right fore and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. BAGGER VANCE - lame left hind.
