Jockey Yeo (transportation problems - to be investigated) did not ride at today's race meeting. He was replaced on his mount in Race 5. The start of this Race was delayed due to the late arrival of the Veterinary Surgeon and then SOMNIUM, which broke through the front gates of the starting stalls, dislodged the rider and bolted the course. SOMNIUM was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon The starting stalls certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. STORM HAWK was stubborn loading. The starting stalls certificate for this gelding has been withdrawn. ELYSIAN FIELDS stumbled leaving the stalls. SEATTLE SERENADE jumped awkwardly. In view of the Starter's report with regard to SOMNIUM, this filly has been suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable in the starting stalls. SOMNIUM may not be presented for repassing during this period. In view of the Starter's report with regard to STORM HAWK, this gelding has been suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable loading into the starting stalls. STORM HAWK may not be presented for repassing during this period. In view of the performance from ELYSIAN FIELDS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. Jockey Zackey, the rider of SEATTLE SERENADE, briefly lost his left side stirrup iron leaving the stalls. TONNERRE REINE raced green. PRINCESS MIRANDA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. STORM HAWK raced in Club colours with the Stewards permission. PRINCESS MIRANDA raced equipped with alumite shoes. MOLLY PITCHER raced equipped with a tongue tie. TONNERRE REINE raced equipped with alumite shoes in front, unshod behind. Vet: ELYSIAN FIELDS - not striding out left front. Scratched: TOBY COATES - no transport. SOMNIUM - bolted.
