ARCTIC GREEN jumped awkwardly losing one length and was squeezed out shortly after the start. Jockey Fourie reported that he felt something amiss with INSPIRED CHOICE in running. In view of the performance from INSPIRED CHOICE, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the filly on return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Apprentice Juglall rode a satisfactory qualifying ride on INDONESIA. WESTON was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. The Colours of the Owners of INSPIRED CHOICE should read: Green, yellow stripe, one red and one blue sleeves, white armbands, black cap. Vet: INSPIRED CHOICE - returned suffering from an epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and was suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa.
