ROYAL GINGER was restless in the stalls. Approaching the 350m JUDDERING ANGEL was carried inwards and BIG ED had to switch out to continue his run when a tiring FLYING GITANO shifted in away from the crop. Apprentice Bantam, the rider of FLYING GITANO, appeared before the Board was shown the patrol films regarding his riding in the early stages. Although riding to instructions given by the Trainer he was advised to be more aware of the pace he allows his mount to set in future and he was further advised against using his crop in an unnecessary manner when his mount is tiring. BIG ED was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: BIG ED - returned lame on the right fore. FLYING GITANO - returned in post race distress.
