The start of this Race was delayed due to WINDGURU (N Patel) proving difficult to load. THE STARTER REPORTED: a) WINDGURU (N Patel) was stubborn and difficult to load. b) TWICE AS COLD (S Moodley), CAMPBELL HALL (K de Melo) and GIANTS CASTLE (M Yeni) lost 1 length. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to WINDGURU (N Patel), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 17.09.20 to the 23.09.20. WINDGURU may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer D Howells was advised. (SH) b) GIANTS CASTLE (M Yeni) was hanging out on the bend. c) BANZAI PIPELINE (L Hewitson) raced green. d) On entering the straight, AVENIR (A Marcus), WINDGURU (N Patel), and ALFREDO (M Khan) came together and made contact as a result of JUST DIXIT (D Dillon) and in turn AVENIR (A Marcus) shifting out slightly, and ALFREDO (M Khan) shifting in marginally. As a result of this, WINDGURU (N Patel) was unbalanced and inconvenienced. e) Apprentice J Gates reported that he felt something amiss with FEARLESS KNIGHT (29.95 lengths) in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) AVENIR (A Marcus), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer L Karriem acting on behalf of Trainer A Fortune advised (TN). g) JAYS DANCER (*L Ferraris), placed second, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer M Prinsloo advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) ALFREDO raced equipped with blinkers (advised 14.09.20/12h37) and with alumites in front, unshod behind (advised 10.09.20/14h44). b) JUST DIXIT was ridden by Jockey D Dillon (advised 14.09.20/7h16). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) JUST DIXIT : The ownership should read:- Mr L F Robinson and the colours are black, yellow band of diamonds, yellow and black halved sleeves, yellow collar, cuffs and cap.
