GREEK HONEY refused to canter to the start and was scratched. This filly was suspended and may not be accepted to race until she proves tractable cantering to the start on a raceday. At approximately the 100m mark MUSIC MAKER had to ease for a number of strides when awkwardly placed between STREET AFFAIR and OSCULATION, which was carried in by THE HUNTING GAME, which shifted in away from the crop. A member of the Stipendiary Board lodged an Objection on behalf of the 5th placed horse, MUSIC MAKER, against the 4th placed horse, THE HUNTING GAME, on the grounds of interference in the concluding stages. The Objection Board after giving regard to the evidence put forward by the respective parties, was of the opinion that the result had been affected by this incident and that MUSIC MASTER would have finished ahead of the HUNTING GAME had this incident not occurred and therefore upheld the objection and amended the Judges result. Workrider Matsoele was charged with a contravention in that he, as the rider of THE HUNTING GAME, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to OSCULATION and MUSIC MAKER when he shifted in, in the concluding stages. Workrider Matsoele signed an Admission of Guilt and was suspended from riding in one Workrider race. PONCHIELLI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. WARRIOR WOMAN raced without a tongue tie. Vet: MUSIC MAKER - abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: RIO TORO - bolted the course and was withdrawn. GREEK HONEY- intractable, refused to canter to the start.
