BRAVE NOMAD was slow into stride. JET SAILOR stumbled shortly after the start. Jockey Danielson reported that WINNING SPIRIT was coughing in running. At approximately the 150m, BRAVE NOMAD was carried in continually by WALKER, which shifted in. A race review was called which was followed by an Objection being lodged by a member of the Stipendiary Board on behalf of the 2nd placed horse, BRAVE NOMAD, against the 1st placed horse, WALKER, on the grounds of interference and intimidation in the concluding stages. The Objection Board, after giving regard to the evidence put forward by all parties, was of the opinion that the result of this race had been affected by this incident and therefore upheld the Objection and amended the Judges result accordingly: WALKER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. BRAVE NOMAD raced with a tongue tie on. Vet: WINNING SPIRIT - coughing. Scratched: SINGASWEWIN - insufficient recovery time.
