THE STARTER REPORTED: a) SOLDIERS SONG (+V Sithetho), BARTHOLOMEUS (+K Fisher) and MAN OF PROPERTY (+S Mosia) were slow losing one length. b) FORT ALADO (+G Dadamasi) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Work Rider T Baase reported that he felt something amiss with SENOR TIGER in running and did not persevere with his riding from the 300m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. b) THEWAYOFTHEWARRIOR (+A Sumbe) raced wide around the turn and into the straight, thereafter shifted in away from the crop from the 300m. c) FUNKY MUSIC (+T Matsoele), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer A B Fortune advised (GF). d) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning SENOR TIGER, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer L J Human advised. WORK RIDER CHANGES: a) FUNKY MUSIC: Work Rider T Matsoele weighed out at 57,6kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. b) ASTRANT: Work Rider T Ncume weighed out at 57,8kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) SOLDIERS SONG new ownership: Messrs D & K Martin, A A Azzie & Dr M Taljaardt, colours: unchanged (Sold with engagement). b) SENOR TIGER raced equipped with alumites in front and unshod behind (declared 10 September 2020 at 14H06). c) MERCY MISSION raced with a tongue tie on (declared 17 September 2020 at 08H08).
