The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous race. MCGEEK was slow into stride. MCGEEK raced wide and without cover around the turn and thereafter Jockey Fortune reported that MCGEEK did not stride out freely in running. AUTUMN ENCORE raced wide and without cover around the turn and thereafter Jockey Herholdt reported that AUTUMN ENCORE took no interest in running. EXCALIVAR raced wide and without cover around the turn and thereafter Apprentice Hewitson reported that he felt something amiss with EXCALIVAR in running. SEATTLE WOLF raced wide and without cover around the turn and thereafter commenced to give ground to the field from the 400m. ZARAGOZA shifted in away from the crop in the concluding stages. FIRST SIGN cast its right hind shoe in running. ZARAGOZA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. MCGEEK raced equipped with alumites in front and steel shoes behind. Vet: AUTUMN ENCORE - not striding out right front. EXCALIVAR - examined post race, no significant findings. MCGEEK - lame left front. Indefinitely suspended for a full veterinary report.
