Jockey van der Merwe did not race at today's race meeting due to being medically indisposed. BACKSLASH, CLOSE TO MY HEART, QUEEN FOREVER and DANCING BALLERINA were slow into stride. PROFS PET raced green. LEIA ORGANA changed stride, ducked inwards approaching the 100 metre mark, made contact with BANJO BUZZ, who was forced inwards and brushed BACKSLASH's hindquarters. A race review was called into this incident, followed by the rider of the 4th placed, BANJO BUZZ, lodging an Objection against the 3rd placed, LEIA ORGANA, on the grounds of interference at the 100 metre mark. The Board after reviewing the patrol films and hearing evidence from the parties concerned, over-ruled the Objection and left the Judges' placings to stand. Objection fee was refunded. QUEEN FOREVER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
