NEVER SETTLE, MONTE CHRISTO and DANCE ON AIR all lost 1 length. RIKITIKITANA lost 2 lengths. MR ROY and JUST ASK ME were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. SEA FEVER was hanging out, shifted out slightly, thereafter MONTE CHRISTO, who was hanging in, shifted in slightly resulting in these two horses brushing for a number of strides at approximately the 150 metre mark. Shortly after the start, RIKITIKITANA ducked outwards, resulting in this gelding racing wide and thereafter refusing to gallop. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this gelding. In view of the report concerning RIKITIKITANA and this gelding's previous history, he was suspended indefinitely from racing and thereafter until he jumps out of the stalls with a companion on a race-day and gallops to the satisfaction of the Stipendiary Stewards. MONTE CHRISTO returned post-race having cast the right fore shoe. Vet: CELTIC CAPTAIN - abnormal respiratory noise. RIKITIKITANA - nothing obvious detected.
