ZIPPA was slow into stride. In the concluding stages, AL HAMD (AUS) had to ease off the heels of KING'S KING, which shifted out. Thereafter, shortly before the finish line, AL BON DUBAI, which was awkwardly placed on the outside of KING'S KING, had to steady when KING'S KING continued to shift out. A member of the Stipendiary Board called a race review into the concluding stages of the race and after reviewing the patrol films, was satisfied that this incident had not affected the result of the race, however, an inquiry will be opened into this report. KING'S KING was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis.
