FRENCH TOAST, SHRIKE, SHANDY and JUST MY STYLE lost one length. MAR DEL SUR and COSIMA were selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. ARCTIC MAID and SHANDY raced green. JUST MY STYLE raced green and faltered near the 800 metre mark. COSIMA was hanging in, in the straight. FASHION QUEST was hanging in, in the closing stages. Jockey Delpech reported that he felt something amiss with DREAM DE RA (GB) in running. Jockey Daniels reported SHANDY choked up in running. Jockey de Melo reported SONIC A P was not striding out freely in running and as a result he did not persevere with his ride in the closing stages. DREAM DE RA (GB) shifted in slightly near the 800 metre mark, carrying MAR DEL SUR inwards slightly, resulting in SHANDY being cramped and inconvenienced. Jockey Delpech, the rider of DREAM DE RA (GB), appeared before the Board with regard to this incident and was advised to ensure that he allows more room on his inside in races in future. Vet: DREAM DE RA (GB) - blowing and fatigued. SHANDY - abnormal respiratory noise and choked up. SONIC A P - nothing obvious detected.
