BLACKMORE was fractious in the stalls, threw his head about as the start was effected losing three lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. LINEKER (AUS) was slow losing four lengths and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the report from the Starter concerning BLACKMORE, Trainer Kannemeyer will be advised to have this gelding re-schooled before its next engagement.
