The start of this Race was delayed due to the delay in the previous Race. LITTLE MISS JET threw her head up as the start was effected losing three lengths. RUNWAY, KHETIWE (AUS) and PATAGONIA lost one length. TRULY VAR and ROSE HILL lost two lengths. SHEZA ROCKSTAR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. GORGEOUS GUEST and PATAGONIA raced green. INTERCEPT and FOREHAND were hanging in throughout. TRULY VAR was cramped along the inside running rail approaching the 200 metre mark. DIAMONDS FOREVER was inconvenienced on the inside of FOREHAND near the 100 metre mark and thereafter shortly before the finish. Jockey Marcus reported that he felt something amiss with KHETIWE (AUS) in the closing stages. In view of the performances of INTERCEPT and GORGEOUS GUEST, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these fillies. DIAMONDS FOREVER raced without a tongue tie. Vet: KHETIWE (AUS) - nothing obvious detected. Assistant Trainer Byrnes was advised to report back to a Stipendiary Steward should he find anything amiss with this filly on return to the stables. INTERCEPT and GORGEOUS GUEST - nothing obvious detected. LITTLE MISS JET - speedy cut left hind. PICK ME UP - coughing. Scratched: EMPRESS CATHERINE - not eating up. SAPPHIRE PETUNIA - swollen left fore fetlock.
