QUEENS DIAMOND was restless in the stalls and dislodged Jockey de Melo as the start was effected. TOMTUNA, LUNGI and SEA KING lost one length. EIGHT SUMMERS was restless in the stalls. INDIAN TRACTOR was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. QUEENS DIAMOND became restless in the starting stalls and as a result Jockey de Melo removed his right foot from the stirrup iron and placed it on the starting stall sill. Immediately thereafter the start was effected, Jockey de Melo was only partially mounted on his horse and as a result was dislodged leaving the starting stalls. A race review was called by a Stipendiary Steward with regard to this incident. After viewing the patrol video and considering the evidence presented by the Starter and Jockey de Melo, QUEENS DIAMOND was declared a non-starter. RAGNAR raced green. In view of the performance of GREAT DICTATOR, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this colt. Trainer Roberts reported that GREAT DICTATOR was making an abnormal respiratory noise post race. Vet: GREAT DICTATOR - nothing obvious detected. Scratched: QUEENS DIAMOND - declared a non-starter.
