THE STARTER REPORTED: a) TWICE THE ACT (G Lerena) refused to load. The starting stall certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. b) SO THEY SAY (W Kennedy) was restless in the stalls, thereafter jumped awkwardly leaving the stalls. c) CHENOPOD (*K Matsunyane) jumped outwards leaving the stalls. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) Jockey P Strydom reported that he felt something amiss with OCEANS PRIDE in running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. b) Jockey S Khumalo reported that ABERDARE (8,25 lengths) changed stride continually in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. c) SO THEY SAY (W Kennedy) (13,00 lengths) choked up in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. d) In the concluding stages, CHENOPOD (*K Matsunyane) was carried out by FORT SNOW (L Hewitson) which shifted out away from the crop. e) PASCHALS SAMORE (*C F Dicken), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer C I Jonker advised (AH). f) In view of the Starter's report with regard to TWICE THE ACT, this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn and she is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable loading with a companion. Suspension dates: 20/09/2020 to the 26/09/2020. TWICE THE ACT may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Stable Employee T Tshoboza, acting on behalf of Trainer M N Houdalakis, was advised. JOCKEY CHANGES: None. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) PASCHALS SAMORE raced without blinkers and a tongue tie (declared 16 September 2020 at 10H32).
