THE STARTER HAD NO REPORTS. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) At approximately the 200m, Jockey G Lerena lost control of his crop when it became entangled in the breast plate of SACRED LOTUS, which he was able to regain shortly thereafter. b) In view of the performance of CURVATION (M Yeni) (distance 6,00 lengths, betting 3/1), the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. c) Jockey S Khumalo reported that EX'S 'N OH'S did not stride out freely in running and he did not persevere with his riding from the 250m. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this mare. d) SACRED LOTUS (G Lerena), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Assistant Trainer A Peter, acting on behalf of Trainer P A Peter, advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) COUNTESS TRENTON was ridden by Apprentice K Matsunyane who weighed out at 53kg, 1kg over the carded weight as declared. b) SACRED LOTUS was ridden by Jockey G Lerena. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) LAND OF RUBIES raced with a tongue tie on and without blinkers (declared 17 September 2020 at 15H09).
