THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STAR CRUSADE (*L Ferraris) was restless in the stalls, removed, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and was withdrawn. b) JUST LIBERTY (A Mgudlwa) was stubborn to load. c) LITCHFIELD (A Marcus) and COSSACK WARRIOR (S Veale) lost 1 length, respectively. d) ROYAL EXHIBIT (A Arries) and NHLANHLA (B Jacobson) lost 3 lengths, respectively. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) In view of the Starter's report with regard to STAR CRUSADE (*L Ferraris), this gelding's starting stall certificate is withdrawn and it is suspended in terms of Rule 61.6.10 for a period of 7 days and until such time as it proves tractable with a companion. Suspension dates: 21.09.20 to the 27.09.20. STAR CRUSADE may not be presented for re-passing during this period. Trainer G Puller was advised. (SH) b) Shortly after the start GOTITALL (W Kennedy) and LOST MONARCH (L Hewitson) were carried out by GREEN PHANTOM (S Randolph) which over-raced in the early stages and shifted out. c) CHAPTER AND VERSE (S Moodley) over-raced in the early and middle stages. d) In the concluding stages, TREE OF KNOWLEDGE (*M Zuma) was carried out by JUST LIBERTY (A Mgudlwa) which shifted out away from the crop. e) Jockey A Arries reported that ROYAL EXHIBIT (4.00 lengths) did not stride out freely in the running. The Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine. f) At the 150m, VITUS BEIRING (M Yeni) shifted out away from the crop marginally. Thereafter, VITUS BEIRING (M Yeni) and LORD OF THE MANOR (K de Melo) raced in close proximity from the 100m to the finish. A race review was called by Jockey K de Melo into this incident which was followed by an objection being lodged by him on behalf of the second placed horse (LORD OF THE MANOR) against the winner (VITUS BEIRING) on the grounds of intimidation in the concluding stages. After considering the evidence in this matter, the Board overruled the objection. In arriving at this decision, the Board considered that, notwithstanding the incident,
