TIGER'S TOUCH (AUS) lost one length. CROWN OF ROSES was stubborn loading. Trainer Alexander was advised to re-school this mare prior to its next engagement. EXQUISITE TOUCH reared and was injured in the stalls. The Starting Stall Certificate for this filly has been withdrawn. In view of the Starter's report with regard to EXQUISITE TOUCH, this filly was suspended for a period of 7 days and until such time as she proves tractable in the starting stalls. EXQUISITE TOUCH may not be presented for repassing during this period. Jockey Fortune was charged with a contravention, read with Guideline C on the use of the crop, in that he struck the horse CRYSTAL GLAMOUR more than three times on consecutive strides. Jockey Fortune signed an Admission of Guilt and was fined. When assessing the penalty, the Board took into consideration that Jockey Fortune used his crop in the back hand position, however he struck this filly nine times on consecutive strides. JOAN RANGER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. TIGER'S TOUCH (AUS) raced with a tongue tie on. Scratched: EXQUISITE TOUCH - injured in stalls and was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked and their identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
