The start of this Race was delayed due to the SIR BERNADINI (AUS) refusing to load, and as a result of a handler being kicked at the start and having to be attended by the medics. MAGESH'S JET jumped awkwardly and was slow into stride. SIR BERNADINI (AUS) refused to load. LESLIE SHADOWLINER was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Shortly after the start, HIVA-OA KOI shifted inwards from a wide draw, which resulted in LUCKDRAGON having to ease. HIVA-OA KOI continuing to shift inwards causing LESLIE SHADOWLINER to be carried inwards and having to ease. This resulted in QUEENSBERRY RULES and IRON WOLF becoming cramped for galloping room and IRON WOLF having to check on the inside running rail approaching the 1000 metre mark. Apprentice Sakayi signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention, in that as the rider of HIVA-OA KOI, he failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to the runners on his inside shortly after the start. He was suspended for a period of 7 days. CONKER THE CODE was hanging in on the bend and into the straight. In view of the performances of MAGESH'S JET and HE'S GOT GEARS, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine these horses. In view of the Starter's report concerning SIR BERNADINI (AUS), this colt's starting stall certificate is withdrawn until re-passed tractable with a companion. LAND OF THE GODS raced equipped with a tongue tie. Vet: MAGESH'S JET and HE'S GOT GEARS - nothing obvious detected. IRON WOLF - overreached left fore. Scratched: SIR BERNADINI (AUS) - refused to load and as a result was withdrawn. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed.
