THE STARTER REPORTED: a) DOM SEGUIDOR (*J Jacobs) was stubborn to load. Trainer W Whitehead was advised to re-school this gelding. b) STAR OVER CAPETOWN (*J Syster) lost 1 length and fly-jumped shortly after the start. c) CALL ME TONIGHT (*T Gumede) lost 3 lengths. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED : a) Shortly after the start, AXIOS (*J Mphanya) took an awkward stride. b) Into the first turn, JARDIN (*K Matsunyane) which was hanging out around the turn, was momentarily inconvenienced when awkwardly placed on the inside of AXIOS (*J Mphanya) which raced around the field and to the front at the 1100m. c) During the course of reviewing this Race, it was established that, the track maintenance staff had erroneously numbered the spare starting stall as 1. However, in assessing this incident, the Stipendiary Board was satisfied that the runners had jumped from the correct gates and any visual representation on the starting stalls had not resulted in any factual prejudice to any runners. Accordingly, no action was taken. d) In view of the Veterinary Surgeon's report concerning TRULY WICKED, and in terms of Rule 93.1, this gelding is suspended for 60 days from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of the National Horseracing Authority. Trainer B Badenhorst was advised. (Suspension Dates : 22.09.20 - 20.11.20) e) TRULY WICKED (*J Gates), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer B Kennedy advised (SC). JOCKEY / EQUIPMENT CHANGES : a) AMBER FOREVER raced equipped with blinkers (advised 21.09.20/9h10). RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER : a) Nil. THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED : a) TRULY WICKED : Bi-lateral epistaxis. 60 days suspension. SCRATCHINGS : a) GRAVITATION : Vaccinated (Trainer - 16.09.20/18h17). Rule 53.5 applies. b) LE TIGRE : Transport complications (Trainer - 20.09.20/7h42).
