GOTOLUVHER and ORISSA lost 1 length. ROLLED SILVER was slow into stride. Shortly after the start, ORISSA was bumped inwards by GOTOLUVHER, which was bumped in by STARINA, which jumped inwards. As a consequence of this GOTOLUVHER gave ground to the field, which it failed to make up. In view of the performance from GOTOLUVHER, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine this filly. Trainer Goosen was requested to report back on the condition of GOTOLUVHER on return to the stables. PLAYING GAMES cast its right front shoe in running. In the concluding stages, STARINA had to ease when awkwardly placed between A-ROD and WILD LADY, which shifted in away from the crop from the 200m. Workrider Duba signed an Admission of Guilt for a contravention in that he, as the rider of WILD LADY, failed to ensure that he did not cause interference to STARINA when he shifted in shortly before the finish line. He was suspended from riding in one workriders' race. FICTICIOUS was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: GOTOLUVHER - examined post race, no significant findings.
