The Off time was rescheduled after the false start. A false start was called when TEVEZ broke through the front gate before the start was effected. TEVEZ was eased up at the 700m and was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. PRINCE ALFRED galloped the course and was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. KINGSTON PASSAGE galloped to the finish and was subsequently withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon. POWER GRID and VILLA DEL LARGO were eased up at the 600m, returned to the start, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and declared fit to race. LA FAVOURARI was eased up at the 700m, returned to the start, examined by the Veterinary Surgeon and declared fit to race. ZUD WES and POWER GRID brushed on two occasions leaving the 150m. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that he felt something amiss with VILLA DEL LARGO in running. LA FAVOURARI was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: VILLA DEL LARGO - returned speedy cut on the left hind. POWER GRID - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. Scratched: OLYMPIAN and VINCENTE - suspected virus. TEVEZ - injured head in the starting stall. KINGSTON PASSAGE and PRINCE ALFRED - galloped the course after the false start was called.
