MINI LOUSHE jumped awkwardly inwards and made contact with OFF BROADWAY. BAFFERT jumped awkwardly losing one length and thereafter was slow into stride. In view of the performance from BAFFERT, the Veterinary Surgeon was requested to examine the gelding on its return to the unsaddling enclosure and submit a report. Jockey Domeyer reported that he felt something amiss with PERFECT CHOICE in running. DEX DEXTER raced green. MANHATTAN ICE was held up for a number of strides in the latter stages. PERGOLA was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. PERGOLA raced fitted with a full set of alumites. Vet: BAFFERT - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. PERFECT CHOICE - returned suffering from an epistaxis due to an exercise induced pulmonary haemorrhage and is suspended, for a period of 60 days, from racing in any race under the jurisdiction of The National Horseracing Authority of Southern Africa. Scratched: THE DONEGAL MAN - coughing.
