THE STARTER REPORTED: a) STELLAR MOTION (W Kennedy) was restless in the stalls. b) SEEMYVISION (*C F Dicken) and ILHA DA VARLETTE (J Greyling) were slow losing one length. c) ULLA (*P Mxoli), SHEER TALENT (S Khumalo) and DECADENT LADY (M Yeni) were slow into stride. THE STIPENDIARY STEWARDS REPORTED: a) In the concluding stages, GOLD IMAGE (R Danielson) was carried in by CHE BELLA (*J R Syster) which shifted both ways away from the crop from the 400m and thereafter commenced to hang in from the 200m. Apprentice J R Syster appeared before the board, was shown the patrol film and advised to take the necessary corrective measures sooner, in order to keep his mount straight in races. b) SHEER TALENT (S Khumalo), the winner, was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Trainer P F Matchett advised (AH). JOCKEY CHANGES: a) ILHA DA VARLETTE: Jockey J Greyling weighed out at 58,4kg, 1kg over the carded weight. Permission was granted in terms of Rule 59.9 for this change due to Covid protocols precluding the use of the sweatbox. b) MADAME PATRICE: Jockey P Strydom weighed out at 54,7kg, 0,5kg over the carded weight. RACE CARD CHANGES / OTHER: a) SEEMYVISION raced with a compression mask (declared 17 September 2020 09H54). b) ILHA DA VARLETTE raced with a tongue tie on and without ear muffs (declared 21 September 2020 11H18). THE VETERINARY SURGEON REPORTED: a) STELLAR MOTION mouth injury. b) MADAME PATRICE overreach left front; cast her left front shoe in running.
