COME ON INN, INDONESIA and DESTINY DUCHESS were slow into stride. A TIME TO THINK was bumped outwards on three occasions by OSTINATO, which was hanging out and shifted outwards from the 200m. A Member of the Stipendiary Board called for a race review regarding this incident, which was followed by an objection being lodged on behalf of the 3rd placed horse, A TIME TO THINK, against the 2nd placed horse, OSTINATO, on the grounds of interference in the latter stages. The Board, having co-opted Mr Welch onto the Objection Board, and after reviewing the patrol films, considering the evidence heard and giving regard to the distance between the two horses was of the opinion that but for the interference TIME TO THINK would have finished ahead of OSTINATO and therefore upheld the Objection and amended the Judges' result. HALL OF FAME was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: DUCHESS OF PRUSSIA - returned making an abnormal respiratory noise. HALL OF FAME - coughed post race.
