PINK ROCK became restless in the stalls, dropped her head down in the starting stall, dislodged the rider and the bridle came off, broke through the front gate and bolted back to the parade ring, was withdrawn by the Veterinary Surgeon, causing a delay. MOULINA flyjumped which resulted in the rider becoming unbalanced. In view of the report from the Starter concerning PINK ROCK, Trainer Hodgson will be advised that this filly's starting stall certificate has been withdrawn. Jockey Fayd'Herbe reported that AZARENKA did not stride out freely in running. AZARENKA switched in approaching the 200m to continue her run. STATE BALLET was selected for the taking of specimens for analysis. Vet: AZARENKA - inspected post race and no obvious abnormalities were detected. STATE BALLET - returned coughing. Scratched: PINK ROCK - bolted the course and was withdrawn. The course farrier on duty did not report there to be anything amiss with the shoes fitted to the horses that raced at today's race meeting. The passports of all the runners that raced at today's race meeting were checked, identities, AHS and Equine Influenza vaccinations confirmed, as per normal procedure.
